Voluntary Arts Week - Craftbomb

Hi thereJust putting a shout out for Voluntary Arts Week. In Glasgow we're going to craftbomb in and around the Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens. The main event is on 11th May and where we'll be installing everything from knitted & stitched birds to teeny wee knitted insects and creating a pom-pom flower garden....there's much more but I don't want to give everything away :-) There will be different activities run throughout the day to encourage all ages to get creative so please feel…See More

Voluntary Arts Week - Craftbomb at Kibble Palace, Botanic Gardens

As part of Voluntary Arts Week, along with other crafty folk I'll be yarnbombing the Kibble Palace and surrounding greenery in the Botanic Gardens, Glasgow.We'll be holding workshops on Saturday 11th May which we'd love you to come along to. We're hosting some of the men's & women's games but the streets are pretty bare.Some of us have decided to give the visitors a colourful welcome. In fact Scattercraft has already started & has been working with local schools.I would love to hang lots of balls, hearts & flags in the area. Think of it as Olympic style bunting.
